Osu's fair day on the 8th

Historically, there are many temples and shrines in the suburbs of Osu, and it is said that visiting them on Ennichi is especially beneficial. In order to familiarize visitors with the festivals, various events are held every month at temples and shrines in Osu to coincide with the fair.

Miwa Shrine
The 8th day of every month is the auspicious day of Daikoku-sama, who is believed to be the same as Daikoku-no-kami, the deity of Miwa Shrine.
On this day, limited edition red seals with a different flavor are awarded each month, and the shrine grounds are crowded with worshippers. Craftsmen also sell their wares on the temple grounds on an irregular basis.
