Oiran Michu" is a popular event at the Osu Odo Machinami Festival. Many spectators look forward to it every year. The "Oiran's valet," or "Kamuro," is selected from among the general public and is judged by the chairperson of the executive committee and other professionals in the theater and dance fields. Kamuro will be selected through a screening of documents only. Of the multiple performances that take place during the festival, only one performance as a "kamuro" is allowed.

September 20 (Sat) Deadline for applications
September 26 (Fri.) Kamuro screening (document screening) *On that day or the next day, only successful applicants will be contacted by phone.
October 10 (Fri) Pre-event
October 11 (Sat) & 12 (Sun) Main Festival

Application Requirements
Girls from 1st to 6th grade of elementary school, up to 130 cm in height
Number of applicants: 18 (3 x 3 courses on Saturday, 3 x 3 courses on Sunday)
*You can apply as long as you can participate on one of the days of the Osu Oomichi Machinami Festival.
*Attendance by one parent or guardian is required.
*In principle, those who have experienced "Kamuro" of this festival in the past are not eligible to apply.

How to apply
Please submit the application form below or send it by mail or in person.
You will need to fill out the required information and attach at least two photos.
Photos that are easy to judge
A photo of a bare face or a nearly bare face
A photo of the applicant's face facing the camera.
A photo of the applicant's entire body facing the camera.
Photos that are difficult to judge
Photos of cosplayers (including photos of the "Kamuro" experience)
Photographs in which the face is not clearly defined.
Photographs in which the entire body is difficult to see.
