The "Oiran's valet," or "Kamuro," is selected from among the general public, and is judged by the chairperson of the executive committee of that year, as well as professionals in theater and dance,

Screening is based on paperwork only.

Please note that although there will be multiple performances during the festival, only one performance as "Kamuro" is allowed,
You will only have to perform as "Kamuro" once during the festival.

Application Requirements
Girls from 1st to 6th grade of elementary school, under 135 cm in height
Number of applicants: 18 people (Saturday 3 people x 3 courses, Sunday 3 people x 3 courses)
*You can apply as long as you can participate on one of the days of the Osu Oomichi Machinami Festival.
*Attendance by one parent or guardian is required.
*In principle, those who have experienced "Kamuro" of this festival in the past are not eligible to apply.
